What is DashGrounds?
DashGrounds is a website dedicated to the customization of your Xbox
360 console. We provide you with images which you can apply as your background
on your Dashboard. We plan on providing you with new DashGrounds every week
based on games, movies, television shows, animals, or anything else. There is
just so much you can make the possibilities are endless.
Who makes them?
I myself make the DashGrounds, but many users around the internet make
them as well. If you look under the description of the DashGround you can see
the creator of that image. The username will be in bold text. Anyone can make
DashGrounds. If you made your own and want to allow other users to use it simply
submit it on the Forums and help build our collection.
How do I start?
There is a tutorial in the Resources section of this website which
contains three detailed ways of applying a dashground to your Xbox 360. If you
still need help feel free to make a post in the Help board of the Forums.
After you know how to apply the dashground, you need to find one that
you like. Simply search around the Gallery until you find one you like. If you
do not like any in the Gallery you can make a request for a dashground on the
forums. You will however need a pass to make the request.
Can I make my own?
Yes! There is a simple and easy to use guide in the resources section
for Adobe Photoshop. This guide will let you know when the image will be cut off
due to the blades, and also where the overlay is on the image.
Don’t own Photoshop and never plan to get it? You can always make a
request. You will need a pass however. More information about requests can be
found on the forums.
